Children's Centres

There are fourteen Children’s Centres in Swindon, all offering health and education services for parents, carers and their children from birth to four years of age.

All Children’s Centres in Swindon provide:

  • Support for families, including information and advice on parenting and child development
  • Free early education sessions and affordable full or part-time daycare, either within the Children’s Centre building or at a local nursery
  • Help for families with a child who has special needs or a disability
  • Child and family health services including antenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding support and speech and language therapy
  • Help with employment and training for parents through close links with Jobcentre Plus and colleges

Skilled professional staff at Children’s Centres help to ensure:

  • Affordable good quality childcare and education
