Local Safeguarding Children Boards: Stronger and Safer

The 2008 LSCB National event was held on Wednesday 19 March in London.

April 2008

First LSCB National Event (2007)

The first-ever national LSCB event was held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull on 13 March.

Keynote speakers included Lord Laming and Beverley Hughes, Minister of State for Children, Young People and Families. Delegates were able to choose three workshop sessions from a total of fourteen on offer. Swindon’s Jean Pollard, Director of Children and Families and Julie Downey, Head of Safeguarding, contributed to a presentation on Serious Case Reviews.
