"Someone to turn to" - Safeguarding Distance Learning

The NSPCC has recently launched a new EduCare distance learning programme ‘Someone to turn to’ that underpins the knowledge required for the new Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) Level 3 in Safeguarding Children and Young People.

This new six-part, 21-module programme is for people whose work, voluntary or leisure activities bring them into contact with children and young people.

It has been designed to promote awareness and sensitivity to safeguarding issues and to emphasise the need for all workers, irrespective of their specific role within an organisation, to take responsibility for ensuring that concerns are acted on appropriately.

You can find out more on the NSPCC Inform site.
