Target Group: Level 1, 2 & 3. Priority given to Level 2 & 3
Must have attended Child Protection 1
Numbers: 24 Delegates Maximum
Aim
This is a multi-agency course which builds the knowledge, skills and values developed from Child Protection 1.
Objectives
- To contrast and update knowledge in policies, procedures and new initiatives
- To analyse the current research into the safeguarding of children
- To explain decision making processes and information sharing
- To review the strengths and tensions in working together to safeguard children
- To summarise the learning from Serious Case Reviews
