Swindon LSCB Training - Child Protection 2

Target Group: Level 1, 2 & 3. Priority given to Level 2 & 3

Must have attended Child Protection 1

Numbers: 24 Delegates Maximum

Aim

This is a multi-agency course which builds the knowledge, skills and values developed from Child Protection 1.

Objectives

  1. To contrast and update knowledge in policies, procedures and new initiatives
  2. To analyse the current research into the safeguarding of children
  3. To explain decision making processes and information sharing
  4. To review the strengths and tensions in working together to safeguard children
  5. To summarise the learning from Serious Case Reviews

Course Length: 1 day
